The PR-500.3 is a highly effective, environmentally-friendly solution for indoor rodent infestations.
Through the combined use of laboratory-tested EMI technology, ultrasound emissions and strobe light flashes the PR-500.3 successfully targets rodents in their lairs and out in the open. The device alters the electromagnetic field of your electrical installation, reaching deep into walls, ceilings and cupboards. It also produces high-frequency ultrasonic waves and light flashes that disperse into the control area. INSTALLATION AND COMPLEMENTARY ACTION
The PR-500.3 is incredibly easy to use. Simply plug the device in and make sure it is on by checking the status LED. It will flash multiple times to indicate that the unit has entered normal operation mode.
The PR-500.3 should be placed as close to the infestation area as possible. Use the buttons on the side of the device to toggle between the three working modes and switch the strobe light on/off. For optimal performance, do not turn off the device.
To get the most out of your PR-500.3, it is important to ensure that there are no soft furnishings to obstruct the dispersion of the ultrasonic waves. Solid objects such as walls, cupboards, appliances and etc. are not an issue and could even benefit the coverage of the PR-500.3 through creating a ricochet pattern.
In larger spaces, or rooms with a more complex layout, an additional PR-500.3 unit could be used to ensure that less accessible areas are being treated. Avoid placing the PR-500.3 in direct sunlight and make sure to keep it away from water at all times.
It is advisable to provide several noticeable exits from the control area. Once the infestation has been treated, it is best to seal off any possible entrances, such as holes in the walls and floors. These precautions will contribute to a quicker initial effect of the PR-500.3, as well as more pronounced and durable results.
WORKING MODES
Use the switch on the right side of the unit to toggle between Modes 1 & 2.
- Mode 1
The device emits electromagnetic impulses and high-frequency ultrasound waves, which
are inaudible to humans and larger animals.
- Mode 2
The device emits electromagnetic impulses and sound waves of high and low frequencies,
audible to people and animals. This mode is generally more effective and is suitable for
uninhabited spaces.
Use the button on the left side of the device to toggle the strobe light on/off.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The first signs of the effect of the PR-500.3 normally become apparent within 10-12 days. Peak performance is usually achieved about a week later.
During this period any sudden rise in rodent activity is nothing to worry about, as the initial discomfort caused by the electromagnetic waves causes pests to flee their shelters. Shortly after, the rodents will permanently leave the control area The use of additional pest control means during this period will also yield greater effect.
