The RR-2 electronic reptile repeller is a highly effective, environmentally-friendly means of dealing with outdoor reptile infestations.
Reptiles are acutely sensitive to inner-soil vibrations. The RR-2 turns this into an advantage. Once placed underground and activated, the device produces a vibrating sound every 30 seconds.
Inner-soil vibrations are intimidating to reptiles as they are associated with an incoming threat, such as an approaching predator or seismic activity. The resulting discomfort eventually causes underground reptiles to flee the control area. Learn more about our Sonic Vibration Technology.
The unit is effective against most widespread species of underground reptiles, as well as some underground rodents, such as moles and mole-rats. It is not advised that the RR-2 be used as a means of treating insect infestations.
The unit has an effective area of the up to 800m2, or roughly a 35m diameter, depending on soil composition, density and moisture.
Proven to have a significant effect on the behaviour and vital functions of reptiles by studies conducted in several independent European laboratories;
Completely harmless to children and pets;
100% chemical-free and safe to use in any part of your garden;

USER GUIDE
Unscrew the cap of the RR-2 in a counterclockwise direction.
Take out the core of the unit.
Place 3 batteries /1.5V-R20/D/ as shown on the label. A vibrating sound should be heard within the next 30 seconds. This indicates that the device has entered normal operation mode.
Insert the core of the unit back into its casing.
Tighten the cap in a clockwise direction.
Create a cylindrical opening in the soil and place the device inside. Once placed into the opening, the cap of the RR-2 should be at about 2cm from the ground.
For optimal performance, compress the soil around the device. This provides better contact and makes for improved sound dispersion and coverage.
WARNING
Do not attempt to push the device into the ground.
A set of batteries will normally last 4-6 months. It is advisable to regularly check if the device is operational. If there is no audible sound or vibration, it may be time to replace the batteries.
For optimal performance, the unit must be placed in the desired area after a thorough tillage operation. That helps to disrupt the shelters of the reptiles. It is advisable that this be carried out at least two weeks before installation of the device.
